For the first decade of my career, I worked as a financial analyst and team leader at one of the 10 largest banks in the U.S. Outside of my day job, I volunteered as a youth mentor and served on the boards of nonprofits I loved. Eventually, I took the leap to become Executive Director of a growing nonprofit with major capacity constraints, and quickly realized how complex nonprofit finance can be—even with my background.
